HEARING SCREENING

Due to the fact that Hearing Loss is the most common cause of Speech Development Delay that is often not recognized until it is too late, which can cause profound medical, social, and personal trauma to the child. Riverside Pediatric Group offers the very best in Hearing Screening. Otoacoustic Emission Test (OAE) is the hearing screening test employed by most Children’s Hospitals and is now performed on an annual basis for Riverside Pediatric Group patients.

VISION SCREENING

Often times, a child’s Astigmatism – or visual problem – is not recognized until they have started to perform poorly in school, or, even worse, until they have experienced an accident (like tumbling down a staircase). At Riverside Pediatric Group, our patients undergo an annual Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) test which identifies subtle problems with vision in our patients before they lead to problems.
